NEURALINK

What is neuralink

Neuralink was founded in 2016 by Elon Musk and other co-founders with the goal of developing implantable brain–computer interfaces (BCIs). The company's ultimate goal is to create technology that can seamlessly integrate the human brain with artificial intelligence, with the aim of enhancing human capabilities.

In August 2020, Neuralink demonstrated its first product, called the "Brain-Machine Interface" (BMI), which is a small device that can be implanted in the human brain to allow for the recording and stimulation of brain activity. The company claims that the technology has the potential to help people with disabilities, such as paralysis or memory loss, regain function, and also enhance cognitive abilities in healthy individuals.

The company has been met with some skepticism by experts in the field of neuroscience, who have raised concerns about the technical feasibility and ethical implications of brain-computer interfaces. Despite this, Neuralink continues to generate significant public interest and investment.

Objective of neuralink project

The primary objective of the Neuralink project is to develop and integrate implantable brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) into the human brain. The ultimate goal of this technology is to enhance human capabilities by merging the human brain with artificial intelligence.

The company aims to achieve this by creating implantable devices that can record and stimulate brain activity in a way that is safe, scalable, and biologically compatible. The goal is to allow humans to communicate directly with computers and other digital devices, as well as to enhance cognitive abilities and help people with disabilities regain function.

Ultimately, Neuralink aims to create technology that will allow the human brain to keep pace with advancements in artificial intelligence and remain competitive in an increasingly technologically advanced world"

The future of Neuralink is uncertain and largely dependent on the successful development and commercialization of its technology. If successful, the company's implantable BMIs have the potential to revolutionize the fields of medicine, robotics, and human augmentation. However, there are also significant technical and regulatory challenges that must be overcome before the technology can be widely adopted. Additionally, there may be ethical and societal concerns about the implications of such technology. The future of Neuralink will likely be shaped by how well they navigate these challenges and gain public acceptance for their technology.

Importance of State Actors in International Law

International law is a set of rules and principles that nations and other international actors (such as international organizations, individuals, and non-state actors) use to govern their relations with one another. It is a complex and dynamic field that covers a wide range of issues, including trade, diplomacy, human rights, the use of force, the law of the sea, and the protection of the environment. Some of the key sources of international law include treaties, custom, and general principles of law. The International Court of Justice is the primary judicial body for resolving disputes between nations under international law.

State actors, including sovereign nations and their representatives, play a central role in the development and implementation of international law. This is because international law is primarily concerned with the relationships between states and other international actors, and it is states that are the primary subjects of international law.

One of the most important ways in which state actors contribute to international law is through the negotiation and ratification of treaties. Treaties are legally binding agreements between states that establish rules and principles governing their relations. Examples of important treaties include the United Nations Charter, which established the UN and set forth its purposes and principles, and the Geneva Conventions, which regulate the conduct of armed conflicts. State actors also participate in the work of international organizations, such as the UN and its specialized agencies, which play a key role in shaping and implementing international law.

State actors also play a crucial role in the implementation of international law within their own territories. For example, state actors are responsible for ensuring that their domestic laws and policies comply with international human rights law, and they are accountable under international law for human rights abuses that occur within their borders. State actors are also responsible for preventing Tran’s boundary environmental damage and for addressing environmental issues within their own territories in a manner consistent with international environmental law.

Moreover, State actors are also crucial in the enforcement of international law. The International Court of Justice, the International Criminal Court and International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda and the former Yugoslavia are some examples of international tribunals which enforce international law and hold state actors accountable for their actions.

In conclusion, state actors play a vital role in the development, implementation, and enforcement of international law. Through their participation in treaty negotiations, their adherence to international norms and their accountability under international law, state actors ensure that international law is effective in promoting peace, security, and human rights on the global stage.

Human Memory

Human memory is the cognitive process of storing and retrieving information. It is the ability of the brain to encode, store, and retrieve information over time. There are several different types of memory, including short-term memory, long-term memory, and working memory. Factors such as age, stress, and brain injury can affect memory. Memory can also be improved through various techniques such as repetition and organization.human memory is important to humans gocause it allows us to retain and recall information, experiences and skills.without memory ,we would not be able to ,learn and make decisions,or function in our daily lives.

1.Learning and Adaption:Memory is essential for Learning new information and adapting to our environment .it allows us to retain information from past experiences and apply it to new situations.

2.Navigation and orientation-Memory also plays a crucial role in our ability to navigate and orient ourselves in the world.it allows us to remember the layout of our home, the route to work, and other important location

3.Emotions- Memory also plays a role in our emotional lives.it allowsus to remember past emotional experiences and helps us to regulate our emotions in present

4.Personal identity-Memory is also central to our personal identity. It allows us to remember who we are, where we come from, and our past experiences it helps us to connect with our past.

5.Planning and dicisson making-Memory is also important to humans to plan and make dicissions according to their past and also use that to plan for future.

The Relationship of Memory and Learning

The relationship between memory and learning is complex and multifaceted. Memory is essential for learning, as it allows us to encode, store, and retrieve information. Learning, in turn, can influence memory by strengthening connections between neurons and making it easier to retrieve information.

There are Some key points to consider when discussing the relationship between memory and learning include:

  • Encoding is the process of taking in new information and converting it into a form that can be stored in memory. Effective encoding can make the information more memorable and easier to retrieve later.
  • Consolidation is the process of strengthening connections between neurons that occurs after new information has been encoded. This makes the information more stable and less likely to be forgotten.
  • Retrieval is the process of accessing stored information from memory. Effective retrieval strategies, such as using cues or practicing retrieval, can make it easier to recall information.
  • Interference of the process by which new information can disrupt the retrieval of previously learned information. This can occur when the new information is similar to the old information, or when the old information has not been consolidated effectively.
  • Transfer of learning is the ability of knowledge and skills learned in one context to be applied to a different context. This is facilitated by the ability to retrieve the information and apply it to a new situation.
  • Spacing effect is The phenomenon where distributed studying/practice is more effective than massed studying/practice.
  • Elaboration is Incorporating new information with existing knowledge to create a network of related ideas, making it easier to retrieve the new information later.

How Covid 19 Pandemic Affected Different Social Groups All Over the World.

Recently we faced  the covid 19 pandemic all over the world. Birth of this pandemic starts in Wuhan, china.coronaviruses got the name from the way of that it looks under a microscope. World’s topmost powerful economies severely affected the pandemic such as the US, China, Germany, France, Italy, Japan, uk and many others countries. And also there are is also some countries without affecting the corona virus including North Korea, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Marshall Islands, Vanuatu, samoa.

Covid-19 is harming the global economy. The economic structure that points countries face multiple difficulties.this pandamic was impact on global production chains have faced a huge problem in the world economy. To bring it back in a stable condition, 80 countries have already requested International Monetary Fund for financial help’s as a powerful country the covid 19 pandemic has affected severly.3.3 million Americans applied for unemployment and another 6.6 million people started searching for jobs to survive. For an example the lockdown has restricted various businesses. Then the companies will be unable to pay to workers and some of them lose their jobs.in that case the workers happened to face for difficult situations. As an example in sri Lankan they have paid only half of their salary, but the company owners can survive form what they save from their profits. According to the point we can see there will be a competition between the super structure and the working class in a grand scale.

In the sector of politics is also this pandemic was affected as the same. There are some great personalities including mainly politicians and royals in the list of coronavirus infections. The prime minister of united kingdom bris Johnson was infected with the coronavirus, Britain’s crown prince charles also infected the pandemic in a another way covid 19 was affected to the parliamentary elections has postponed to nearly two months to June 20 due to the coronavirus. The Sri Lankan government has to to rule this pandemic without parliamentary oversight for the first time in the country’s modern history government took steps to respond to the pandemic instructed by the World Health Organization (WHO) to wear a face musk then first of all the rich people started to wear face masks according to current situation, shop keepers increased the normal price up to Rs 500 of the face mask.at then there were so many people without wearing a mask going everywhere, because they are not perfect to buy a musk for a that much of price.in that case we can be able to see how the poor people face to injustice.

In the sector of religions sector the pandemic has impacted in various ways.it includes cancellation of the worship, closing of sunday schools. Also many religions have gathered together to pray for an end to the pandemic. They believe in to give the power to doctors, nurses and the ones who worked in the sector of health.as another example in the president of United States, Donald Trump marked 15 th March 2020 as the national day of prayers to pray the once who affected the pandemic and for the ones who died from this pandemic.

According to the pandemic families happened to spend more time together at home. Because of the stress of the financial problems at home and by losing their jobs.in that case specially women and children has to face this situation under domestic violence and under inequality. As an example during the Lokedown in india from 23 of March to 16 th of April there were 587 domestic violence complaints registered. Also the Child line of India helpline received more than 92,000 calls between 20–31 March, the start of India's lockdown by asking for protection from abuse and violence.in that case women and children have faced in to a huge injustice situation according to all these following facts.

In the sector of education covid 19 was affected to Sri Lanka and the government ordered to close schools and the tution classes and introduce the distance learning concept.it was previorsly introduced in university education in sri la nka and now it comes over for schools also as online learning beyond the books.many schoools and universities began to conduct their classes by video conference during the COVID-19 pandemic in so many countries as the same.as an example in sri lanka mainly the used the zoom technology for distance learning between teachers, lecturers and students.in that case some students can access to technology and some cant because of the haven't enough money even to survive and then they dont have educational resources and the students from rural areas. this concept mainly based from internet connectivity and it comes through digital learning platforms and video lessons.all the students are not supposed to access to technology equally.in that case they face to a huge problem impact of covid 19 to face their exams in future education.

the COVID-19 pandemic was a special moment globally and it takes place to be backward the hole world. it spread out between people, between countries and between continents..when the people achieved the technology and intelligence but covid 19 make the pepole physically and pschologycally both down.as the birth country of the pandamic, china has blamed from the other countries acording to the following sectors all over the world i would like to stae that the impact of the pandemic called covid 19 was affect economey ,religions, education, polictics family, marrriage and for the globle health. people of those social groups in the most vulnerable situations, affected populations, including people living in poverty situations, older persons, persons with disabilities, and youth. then we can gain an idea how the pandemic affect to all countries and vulnerablly it afect to cuntries and the social groups in a different way.

How Interpersonal Communication Becomes Important To Communicate Interpersonally As a Social Action.

The word communication came as a Latin word means as ''to share’ ‘it was build up by passing through four steps.at the grant period it comes as the word ''munis''after that it was changed in to ''communis'' as the third step of changing it comes as ''communicare'' at last it converts in to word ''communication''.

‘‘Communication is transfer of information from one to another, whether or not it elicits confidence. But the information transferred must be understandable to the receiver"

-G.G.Brown-.

According to this definition G.G.Brown state that the communication can be defined as exchanging information between two or more people.it includes sharing of ideas, concepts, imaginations, behaviors. Most of the people born with the physical ability to talk. From the beginning of their human life they started to communicate. For the first time humans communicate inside of mother’s womb by kicking and moving.at the movement of their birth they cry, when they are growing up they used to communicate through their hands, eyes and fingers.in advance through education by speaking, listening, reading and writing abilities can be used to improve our communication skills as humans.

As the key word of this question social action, social action occurs. Social action is an individual or group behavior that involves interaction with other individuals or groups. When the communication takes please as a social action can be seen interaction between human beings gives rise to a process of transformation.

This view can be understood as the transport of information this transformation handles through conveying of new knowledge and attitudes affecting social environment in this process social action highlighted as a social action.

  1. Intention to communicate.
  2. Intention to utilize an accepted code of symbols.
  3. Reception and the comprehension of this message by the person to whom it is intended.

including all these functions communication to become a social action can be seen in this way,

Accordingly communication there are two types of important communication that can be named intra personal communication and inter personal communication. Intra personal is communicating with oneself.it can be introduce as communicating through internal vocalizations or reflective thinking. According to this type of communication, at the begin intrapersonal communication comes through the internal body including self-talking, imagination and visualization by thinking and recalling as examples.it takes place only inside of our head, in the other form of communication there are communicators to count in that case intrapersonal communication has no one sees it.

Sometimes we interpersonally communicate for fun. I think we had experience of laughing aloud because of we thought of something funny.as another example the people who waits at waiting rooms at the moment can be interpersonally communicate with their minds. Sometimes it might be a scolding based situation. Kind of these cases are unplanned and it doesn’t include a clear goal.in fact the self-reflection or interpersonal communication helps us become more competent communicators as we become mind full of our own behaviors. This helps us to achieve or maintain a social adjustment and also to build up a social action. Intrapersonal communication is also important to build up our own self concept. Intrapersonal commutation always internalized to think through something or rehearse we learn to say or do in the future. According to the point we can’t change a word after we talk. But there is an advantage of communicating intrapersonal, while communicating with mind it offers a second chance to change the thoughts or our minds. Through the following examples with explanation we can gain an idea about the importance of intrapersonal communication. According to all these facts without intrapersonal communication we cannot pump out our feelings, emotions and thoughts and ideas.

Interpersonal Communication is used to exchange information between two or more people.it often includes face to face exchanging of information in a form of voice, facial expressions through body language and gestures. Interpersonal communication skills are can be measured through the effectiveness of transferring message to another. According to that point at the starting of intrapersonal communication next it comes to interpersonal communication to communicate through mass media.in that case it happens in return to a social action and also build a social relationship. Cording to that point first of all intrapersonal communication create the environment to flow it in to inter personal communication.

As an example the individual behavior of a person who is planning to make a presentation to participate for the next business meeting. The presentation is about to introduce a new product of ABC company the one who planning to make the presentation is used the intra personal communication to plan the presentation by using his mind.as the next step he went to the business meeting and then he is going tointroduce the product to their clients, sponsors and for the directors to take the approval to introduce the product for the market by using interpersonal communication. After that he got the approval for the product and then the next thing is to be done, introducing the new product to the market to catch the customer base. Then they discuss altogether to public this product through mass media. They selected to public this product by a TV commercial.

According to the following examples the individual behavior interact the idea and then spared it out to several People through mass media to introduce the product. When it spread out in the society by the TVcommercial, the Social action occurs by the responses of the people who saw the commercial. when the people attracts to the product, they talk about the name and the qulity.it means there should be a social action and then as the point the intra personal communication made the background to communicate interpersonally through mass media as the final outcome in this way.
